Using my Three Pillar Method — the 3-part framework to unlock fluent Dutch, even if you’ve failed before.
Learning Dutch can be frustrating.
You download the apps, you watch YouTube videos, you memorize vocabulary…
…but when it’s time to actually speak, your mind goes blank.
Most Dutch teachers and apps are just trying to keep you subscribed through gamification or self study methods.
Or worse, they teach from books, like your grandma’s high school teacher in 1960.
All these methods are working AGAINST you. When you gamify and dull the information, you’re creating the illusion of learning without the results.

But what if learning Dutch could feel simple?
What if you could finally understand how the language works, feel confident speaking, and actually enjoy the process?
WHO AM I AND WHY SHOULD YOU LISTEN?

Hi, I’m Kees, and this is how I make the difference:
- As a teacher, I’ve helped thousands of international students learn Dutch from scratch — even the ones who thought they “weren’t good at languages.”
- As a coach, I’ve been hired by the biggest companies to let their employees master Dutch.
- As a host, I’ve lead workshops, webinars, and live sessions appreciated by thousands.
- As a founder, I developed a method that breaks Dutch down into patterns and which students around the world are using right now.
I’m not here to impress you with complicated grammar (although at some point I will haha) —> I’m here to help you speak Dutch with confidence; using the system that’s worked for hundreds of my students.

The old way of learning Dutch is broken.
Remember when you:
- Tried Duolingo for 152 days but still couldn’t have a conversation?
- Took group classes that felt slow, boring, or overwhelming?
- Tried to memorize verbs without knowing how to use them in real life?
It’s not your fault.
You were using a system designed for classrooms —> not for real people who want to speak Dutch.
Most courses use what I call the
“word salad” method:
Random vocabulary, drilling rules with exceptions, and memorizing expressions.
If you don’t see the structure, get logical examples, and put it in practice yourself, it will not stick. And while teachers claim to be fun, they end up having the same charm as a wet bike saddle.
And when you don’t speak from Day 1, you freeze when it matters.
That’s why I do things differently.
🧠 Memorizing phrases like a 🦜
how the puzzle fits together so you can speak freely
That’s my Three Pillar Method.
I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from teaching Dutch for years and built a simple, proven framework that:
- Makes sense of Dutch sentence structure from the start
- Helps you speak instead of just study
- Uses real-life situations, not textbook dialogues
- Works whether you’re a complete beginner, stuck at A2, or ready to perfect your Dutch
- Gives you the confidence to speak —> especially if you’re shy or afraid to make mistakes

- Sentence Patterns – so you stop guessing and start building
- Speaking Practice – so besides knowledge, you gain confidence
- Real Dutch – so what you learn is what you’ll actually use on the streets
This isn’t just another grammar course.
This is a system for unlocking the language —} so you can finally start speaking.

Each class lasts about 90 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to learn new concepts, practice speaking, and answer questions without feeling rushed.
Homework isn’t mandatory. I’ll suggest exercises and materials you can do between classes if you’d like extra practice, but simply showing up and participating is already something to celebrate. Consistency matters more than perfection.
That’s completely normal! You’re always encouraged to try, but you can participate at your own pace. The group is a supportive, positive space to build confidence step by step.
I’ve created clear descriptions for each level. Take a moment to read them, and if you’re still unsure, just send me a message—I’m happy to help you choose the right fit.
How big are the classes?
Each group is small and personal, with no more than 6 participants. This way, everyone gets plenty of attention and time to practice.
